Do This-Not That: Appealing to Year-End Donors with Strategy and Creativity!

During the pandemic, our inboxes are filled! How will your year-end appeal stand out? How will it attract needed dollars for your nonprofit? Simply sending a request to every email address you can find won’t do it. What should you consider besides traditional mail and email? Join us for a workshop to strategically plan and implement your requests – and close out 2021 with strong and successful fundraising activity.

UPDATE (9/20/2021): Based on participant registration, this workshop will be delivered via Zoom. Upon registration, you will be asked your preference for delivery-- we ask that you still share this for our own learning moving forward. Note:  Upon registration, you will be asked what your or your attendee's preference for our workshop's delivery is. You will be asked if you prefer an in-person learning experience OR a zoom experience. The safety, caution and comfort of all who plan to attend is our priority #1. CNL staff leadership will be closely monitoring University policy, CDC guidelines, state/county/venue policies, procedures and regulations as your date grows near. COVID-19 developments that necessitate additional precautions will be addressed, communicated to our attendees and guests and strictly adhered to.

While selecting your preference please consider the following:

For in-person gathering: Cal Lutheran is requiring all faculty, staff and students who will be on our campuses or at our centers during the 2021-22 academic year to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

In order to keep our community and visitors safe, we encourage all our guests and visitors to be vaccinated.  Additionally, we require that everyone wear a mask when indoors in public and/or common spaces and maintain a six-foot distance from others whenever possible while attending Cal Lutheran events.  Eating and drinking indoors is strictly prohibited.

We also ask everyone to please stay home and use virtual meeting options if you are not feeling well, particularly if you have a fever, cough, sore throat, or any other cold or flu symptoms.

The final format of workshop delivery (in-person or via zoom) will be decided based on participants' responses by September 17th, 2021.
